Hey everyone!

Today I am sharing a fun Halloween card featuring a digital stamp from the Happy Haunting set by Craftin Desert Divas. This digital stamp set is chock full of super adorable images. The awesome thing, too, is that a lot of the images can be used throughout the year, if you just pair them with other stamp sets or digital stamps! Who doesn’t love that flexibility? I know I do!

I started off this card by sizing my digital stamp in a Word document, then printing it out on cardstock. I used my Copic markers to bring this cutie to life. I just love the purples in her hat and dress! I used a few gel pen accents as well to add a little more depth to the image, because my coloring made it a little dark.

I used a pencil to draw a border around the image (still thanking fellow DT member Anna for giving me this tip!) and then cut it out with my scissors. I used some Hickory Smoke Distress Ink to ‘smoosh’ myself a background and then used the Fancy Frames Dies to get that cute scalloped border with the stitched accents.

I used Distress Oxides in Wilted Violet, Worn Lipstick, and Spiced Marmalade to blend a background for my card front with the foam blending tool. Once I was happy with the blending, I flicked a few drops of water to add some interest and then used a piece of foam to mount my scalloped background.

All that was left was the sentiment, so I added my own using a Tombow Dual Brush Pen and that finished up my first card for October!

Now I’m ready to go snuggle up and watch Hocus Pocus on repeat for the rest of the month. 🙂

Happy haunting everyone!
