It’s officially fall and I couldn’t be more thrilled. I am so in love with everything autumn! In the spirit of fall things, I decided that my little guy’s first birthday theme would be lumberjacks. So stinkin’ cute! Cue all things plaid, buffalo check, forests and flapjacks!
Since I’ve been throwing myself into planning his party this weekend, I decided I would continue the theme in my planner. So for this week’s planner layout, I’m doing lumberjacks also! Yay!
I cut some patterned papers to match my theme and taped them into my Big Happy Planner. (Seriously, I love this thing!) Then, I decided to use some adorable images from the Lumberjack Love stamp set by Neat & Tangled. I don’t think they could be any more adorable. Love it! I colored them with Copic markers and adhered them to my planner pages.
I also used some cute washi to tie my theme together. Then I was ready to add all the nitty gritty details for my week. check out the pictures of my spread, or watch the Plan With Me video on YouTube (HERE) or below:
I loved that this planner layout was super quick and easy to put together, but still feels like a cool theme. A friend told me that I tend to make planner layouts like I would make a card, and I think she’s probably right. The cool thing is that I can keep these layouts as memory books if I want to. Two birds with one stone? Oh yes!
I’ll try to get another post done this weekend so I can share some of what I’ve been working on for my little guy’s first birthday party. I’m really happy with the way some things turned out, so I’m looking forward to sharing!
Happy crafting everyone!
