Brutus Monroe Team Hop – Foiling!

Hey friends!

It’s time for another Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team Hop! Woohoo! This week’s theme is full of shine – it’s foiling! We’re showing off awesome techniques with foiling and I can’t wait to share my project with you.

To start things off, I did some ink blending with Simon Hurley create. Dye Ink Pads in Triple Berry, Rosy Cheeks, and Overzealous. I blended out my background and then grabbed one of the gorgeous Decofoil clear toner sheets (Kaleidoscope). I foiled it using my Mini Minc and the Purple Sketch foil.

I used my sewing machine to stitch the foiled clear sheet to my ink blended background. I stitched it on three sides and left the top open so I could add my shaker bits. I threw in some green and purple sequins and then sewed the top side shut.

I stamped out the mailbox image from Special Deliver and colored it with Copic markers. I fussy cut it using the Fussy Cutting Scissors. I cut down a piece of black card stock and used the ‘long live snail mail’ sentiment. I heat embossed this with Alabaster Embossing Powder and that finished off my card!
