i-crafter | BLOG HOP FEB RELEASE

Hey friends!

I’m hopping along with the i-crafter team today to showcase the brand new February release! Be sure to hop along and check out all of the amazing inspiration from the team.

To create this card, I used the Animalope die set and assembled what I intended to be a cute little mouse. As you can see in the photos, my mouse has a little bit of RBF going on and I learned the important lesson that the position of the eyes makes a different in the attitude of your critter LOL.

I decided to do a little lettering on my card front because I didn’t have the right sentiment for this sassy little mouse. I used a pencil and drew in the lettering and then when over it with a Spectrum Noir ArtLiner pen.

I pulled out my trusty label maker for the rest of my sentiment and I love it! I printed out ‘luck next time’ on clear label tape and adhered it to a piece of grey cardstock. It looks like a stamped sentiment – so cool!

I attached my mouse to the top of my card so that when you open it, there’s somewhere for those cute ears to go. You can tuck a gift card right inside the envelope and you’re good to go. A quick and easy greeting card and gift card holder in one. Win!
