It’s time for my last Inspiration Team hop with the Brutus Monroe gang! This week’s theme is August Subscription Items and I’m showcasing the Steampunk stamp set from the inspiration box.
I started by stamping the floral image repeatedly around the edges of a piece of white card stock. I made sure to fit the stamp nicely so that the leaves and flowers didn’t overlap. This gave a framed look to my card.
I used Distress Oxides and Distress Inks to color the card panel. I used Antique Linen, Tattered Rose, and Aged Mahogany Distress Inks with Ground Espresso Oxide.
I used my Mini MISTI to stamp out ‘every moment’ from the Succulent Border stamp set and I added some Dark Chocolate Liquid Pearls for a little added interest.
