I’m back with another fun project featuring some adorable new Christmas dies from Spellbinders. The dies I’m using today and ‘Santa’ and ‘Snowman’ from the Die D-Lites line.
I decided to make some fun tags with these cuties. I started off with some thich kraft tags. I die cut each of the sets from white cardstock and then colored them with Copic markers. I like how this gave it more dimension than just using solid colored cardstock to paper piece them together.
For my Santa tag, I used a few different colors of washi tape to make my ‘background.’ Santa covered up most of it anyway, so it didn’t need to be anything fancy – just a fun pop of color! For my snowman, I used some white pigment ink mixed with water to flick on fun droplets. I love the snowy effect this gave on the kraft tag.
I mounted both of my cuties on foam tape for some added dimension and then used jute twine so they have a way to be attached to a bag or present.
These die sets are super cute and I’m already thinking of a few other ways I can make the most out of these this holiday season.
Hugs and love to you all,
