Hello, hello!
I have some super exciting news to share today! First- my YouTube channel recently passed 1000 subscribers (YAY!) and I’ll be doing a giveaway to celebrate soon. Second- I just received word that my YouTube channel was ranked among the top 100 Card Making YouTube channels. Wow! I am so thrilled and honored to be a part of that list of amazingly talented cardmakers. You can check out the full list HERE.
Today, I’m sharing my new card for the Papercraft Business Challenge Design Team. The challenge for the month of February is Anything Goes with an extra entry if your card has a ‘love’ theme.
I decided to go with a simple card this month and use up supplies I already had on hand. I have mountains of washi tape, so this was the perfect excuse to use it! This card features an adorable stamp from My Favorite Things (Valentine Wishes) and 5 different prints/widths of washi tape.
I lined up the washi tape in a diagonal at the bottom right of the card. I tried to alternate the widths so that I got a good mix of colors, patterns, and sizes. I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink and my Mini Misti to stamp the sentiment and then mounted my card front on a light pink piece of cardstock. Then, I just added the card front to a kraft card base and that is it. Super simple, didn’t I tell you?
The thing I love about this card is that it can be used for any occasion if you just change up your washi tape and the sentiment. That’s my kind of card for sure! You can check out the video below or HERE on YouTube:
Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you again soon!
Hi Jess! Congrats on the YouTube milestones, way to go! 🙂
Love the idea of using what you had in your stash… I also have a bunch of washi tape and stickers I should be using up… great inspiration! 🙂
