Brutus Monroe | Inspiration Team Hop | May Subscription Items

Hey y’all!

It’s time for another hop with the Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team! This week, we’re featuring May Subscription items! I’m using the Stencil of the Month in a totally creeptacular way!

I started off by doing some ink blending. I used Distress Inks in Old Paper, Evergreen Bough, and Black Soot. These are one of Kristina’s Oxide Combos, but I used regular distress inks for this.

Once my ink blending was done, I stamped the rose from Happy Rose and colored it with Copic markers. I used the coordinating SVG cut files and my Cricut to cut out the rose image. So awesome! I adhered the rose to my card front.

I drew on a creepy spider hanging from the rose and then stamped the sentiment ‘miss your face’ from Super Sentimental. Creepy, right? I drew in another spider hanging from the sentiment, drew a spiderweb in the lower right corner, and added a tiny spider hanging from the top of the card. This is a lot of spider action for someone who really hates spiders! LOL

I mounted my card front on an A2 sized card base. I added some clear shimmer to my rose with Wink of Stella and added a few clear sequins for some sparkle. My creepy card is done!
