Brutus Monroe – Team Hop: Anything Goes

It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time for another Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team hop. Hooray! This week is a little extra special, though. For the first time, we’re welcoming this month’s Guest Designers to hop along with us for the last hop of the month. How cool is that?

For today’s project, I decided to get a little creative with a few supplies I hadn’t used much yet. To start things off, I foiled the Enchanted Rose background stamp using a sticky embossing powder and the new Green Sketch foil from Brutus Monroe. I used Navy card stock for this.

I layered a piece of white card stock behind my foiled background and ran both through my die cut machine using the ‘hello’ die. I ran it through a couple of times to make sure it cut all the way through both pieces. Want to know what I did with the rest of my background? You’ll actually see the rest of it in another project next month, so stay tuned!

I took the white piece of card stock and, while I still had my die cut machine out, I ran it through with the Petal Lace Embossing Folder. I love the detail on this one! I layered the white embossed panel on a white A2 sized card base and fit the ‘hello’ die cut into the negative space. To finish the card off, I added a few navy sequins.

I really love how simple, yet elegant, this card is. I know you’re all excited to see what else the team (and our guests!) have in store, so let’s get hopping!
