Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team Hop – Christmas Cards

Hey friends!

I’m excited for another team hop with the Inspiration Team for Brutus Monroe. Yay Wednesdays, am I right!?

To kick things off, I stamped out the adorable Christmas bulb from the Stamp of the Month club. I love this little guy! I used embossing ink and Alabaster embossing powder for this. Once I got my stamping done, I used an embossing pen to add in extra doodled lines to connect all of my cords.

Then, I used my Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils to add some bright and vibrant color to my card. I wanted to go a little non-traditional here. Are you surprised?

I stamped the sentiment, ‘merry & bright,’ on black cardstock and heat embossed it using the Alabaster embossing powder. To finish things off, I added a few clear sequins for a little bit of shine.
