Brutus Monroe Team Hop – Oct Stamp of the Month

Hey friends!

It’s Wednesday, so you know what that means! It’s time for another Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team Hop. Hooray! This week, we’re showcasing the brand new Stamp of the Month – this adorable vampire candy corn. How cute is he, seriously!?

I decided to combine a few things for my card. I started by coloring up my sweet little vamp candy corn with Copic markers and then snagged a few of the pumpkins from Pumpkin Faces. I masked these off as I went and stamped them all out with Raven Ink so they look like they’re overlapping each other. I colored them using Copic markers as well. I used my markers to make the little dirt patch at the bottom, too!

Next, I kept my pumpkins masked and used one of the Simple Blends (Circle) to mask off an area for the moon. I used Faded Jeans and Black Soot Distress Inks to ink blend my background to form a night sky. I also flicked on some white acrylic paint using the splatter brush. I removed the mask and ink blended on some Scattered Straw Distress Ink for the moon.

I used Embossing Ink and Alabaster Embossing Powder to heat set my sentiment ‘bite me,’ and then cut a few bats from black cardstock using my Cricut. I popped my candy corn vampire up on foam for some dimension and that finished off my card!
