Spellbinders | Halloween

Hey friends!

I’m excited to share a new project with you today featuring a brand new release from Spellbinders! This Halloween themed addition to the Charming Cottage die set is… to die for! It’s so adorable, seriously.

I assembled the box (which was SO easy) using the Charming Cottage die set. Once that was complete, I got busy decorating my project. I used Distress Oxide ink pads in Twisted Citron and Black Soot to make a spooky scene for my box. Then, I went back with a black alcohol marker and made flicking lines in the area that had black ink. This gives the look of grass and I couldn’t love it any more!

I die cut the scalloped roof pieces in black and purple and attached those with liquid adhesive. For the box assembly, I would recommend using a double sided tape rather than liquid adhesive so that it sticks better and faster. I’m impatient, though!

I also cut out the adorable Spooky Cottage etched dies and added those to my box to create a cute and spooky scene. I added the adorably cute mummy as a charm with some coordinating ribbons to finish things off.

I absolutely can’t wait to give this adorable box to my kiddos for Halloween. I know they’re going to love it! What do you think? Be sure to let me know in the comments – I love hearing what you guys think!

Hugs and love,
