Clean and Simple Taco Card! | The Hedgehog Hollow

Hey friends! It’s Jess from A Card Day’s Work and I’m excited about the card I created for you today. I have been loving clean and simple cards lately and today’s is a perfect example of this minimalist style.

I started off by stamping the adorable taco image from Food With Personality on to a piece of white cardstock. The products I used for today’s card are from the July 2020 Subscription Box. I stamped the taco image again on to a full sticky note (see supply list at the end of post). I used a pair of sharp scissors to cut the taco out and placed this on top of my stamped taco image.

Next, I placed the burst stencil over my masked taco image and used Distress Oxide inks and a mini ink blending tool to add color. I used Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn.

Once my ink blending was done, I removed the stencil and got to work on the ‘ground’ for my taco. I wanted to make it look a little like a hardwood table, so I grabbed a few alcohol markers and got to coloring.

I stamped the sentiment ‘you guac my world’ at the top of the card panel and mounted it on a white A2 sized card base. This clean and simple card is done and ready to send!
