Hey friends, it’s Jess from A Card Day’s Work. I’m excited to share a new project with you today featuring the stamps from the May 2020 subscription box.
This box is all about organization and includes all sorts of goodies for getting your stash under control. I wanted to share a project that shows you can use these stamps for things other than organization as well.

To get started, I grabbed a background from my stash. I previously created this one using Distress Inks and stencil brushes. I used the large heart swatch stamp and Distress Oxide Inks to create a pattern on top of the blended background. I stamped it repeatedly in Shaded Lilac and then did the same with the smaller heart image in Seedless Preserves.

Next, I treated a piece of black cardstock with anti-static powder and stamped ‘you inspire me’ from the sentiment set I designed for the March box in embossing ink. I poured on white embossing powder and tapped off the excess. I melted the embossing powder with my heat tool and trimmed the cardstock down.

I popped each word of the sentiment up on foam tape to add a bit of interest and dimension to the card and mounted the card panel on a white A2 sized card base. I left the card simple so the background would stand out!

I hope you love today’s project. If you’re inspired to create something, be sure to tag us on social media ( @acarddayswork @thehedgehohollow ) so we can see what you’re up to. Have a wonderful day and happy crafting!
Hugs and love,
