Flourished Fretwork Spellbinders

Hey crafty friends!

I’m excited to share a clean and simple card with you today. I’m using the Flourished Fretwork line by Becca Feeken and Spellbinders. Let’s check it out!

I started things off by ink blending with Distress Oxide inks on a white piece of cardstock. I chose Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, and Picked Raspberry. I love the bright summer sunset vibe these colors give off. I blended the ink onto my panel and the cut out the solid octagonal piece from Sentimental Finery.

Next, I cut the interior piece of the die set from plain white cardstock. I knew I wanted to layer this over my ink blended panel, so I wanted the white to stand out against the ink. I used a liquid adhesive to attach the intricate die to my panel.

I stamped out the ‘you’re a true friend’ sentiment from the All Occasion Sentiments Stamp and Die Set in black ink. These rubber cling stamps gave a perfect impression on the first stamp!

To give the card a little added interest, I popped the panel up on foam tape. I attached this to a white A2 sized card base and added a few sequins as a final touch. I love how clean and simple this is. What do you think about it? Let me know by leaving a comment!

Hugs and love,
