DT POST | The Hedgehog Hollow

Hey friends, it’s Jess! I’m back with a super clean and simple birthday card for just about anyone! Let’s get right into it.

I’m using the adorable set of suspender images from the April box and I couldn’t love them anymore. How cute, seriously!? I started by positioning all three images in my Mini MISTI. I used the Simon Hurley create. Dye Ink Pads for my colored ink.

I stamped out the first set of suspenders in Remember Me (blue). Next, I stamped the third set of suspenders in Guppy (orange). Finally, I stamped the middle set of suspenders in Overzealous (green) and went over onto each of the outer images when I was inking up. This gives a cool mixture of the colors on both outer stamps.

Next, I needed a sentiment, so I grabbed the ‘happy birthday’ from the same stamp set. I absolutely love the size and appearance of this sentiment. It’s the perfect touch for this card. I stamped the sentiment in black ink.

To finish off the card, I matted the stamped panel with some coordinating colored cardstock and mounted it on a white A2 sized card base. This card was super quick and easy – the perfect card to whip up in a pinch!

I hope you love the card. If you feel inspired to create something, be sure to tag us on social media so we can see what you’re up to!

Hugs and love,
