I’m excited to share a floral friendship card with you today. I used the gorgeous floral images from the Alex Syberia collaboration box last May. I stamped the large floral image on the lower right and upper left of a white card panel. I made sure to use alcohol friendly ink so I could color with alcohol markers.
Once my stamping was complete, I used a few Spectrum Noir alcohol markers to add shading and depth to my flowers. I love how these turned out.
I grabbed some black cardstock and treated it with an anti-static powder bag. Then, I stamped ‘bestie’ from my Feminine Words stamp set and ‘you are amazing’ in embossing ink. I poured on white embossing powder, tapped off the excess, and melted it with my heat tool.
I fussy cut the scripty word and adhered it to my card front. I cut the ‘you are amazing’ into a thin strip and adhered it below ‘bestie.’ I mounted my card front to a white A2 sized card base and that finished off my card!
I love how quickly this floral friendship card came together. The coloring took the longest, but you could totally speed that up by adding fewer layers or possibly changing the coloring medium. I hope this inspires you to create something today!
