i-crafter |Using Up Your Scraps

Hey friends!

I’m back with another post for i-crafter today! Last month, when the company launched at Creativation, I shared a clean and simple card featuring an ink swiping technique. I couldn’t bear to part with the scraps that were left over – they were just too pretty!

I decided to make a second card from it! No waste over here, y’all. In the previous card, I swiped Distress Oxide ink pads directly onto white cardstock. Then, I die cut the ‘love’ word from the Heart Hands Wiper Insert set three times. I loved the leftover bits, so I trimmed it down and attached it to a white A2 sized card base.

I decided to add a little detail to the panel as well. I grabbed the small heart stamp from You Amaze Me and stamped it in the open area of each ‘o.’ I decided to keep things going with the You Amaze Me stamp set, and stamped out ‘I’m lost without you’ twice on the panel.

I wanted to leave this one nice and simple, so I didn’t add any embellishments. What do you think about this style – is clean and simple your thing or do you prefer something with a little extra added to it? Be sure to drop me a comment and let me know!

Hugs and love,
