Scrapping for Less Blog Hop: It’s All About the Boys

Hey crafty friends!

I’m back with another post for Scrapping for Less. This is my last Guest Design spot for them – I hope you love it! This hop if part of a blog hop, so be sure to hop along and see all of the inspiration from the Scrapping for Less team. The theme for this hop is ‘It’s All About the Boys.’

I decided to use the Tool Time set from Sunny Studio for my card. I used the hammer and saw images to create a background using repeat stamping. After the larger images were stamped, I went back in with the little nail image and filled in the open spaces. This fills in the area nicely!

I trimmed a piece of the patterned paper down and grabbed a piece of black cardstock. I used embossing ink to stamp out my sentiment and then poured white embossing powder on top. I tapped off the excess and melted the embossing powder. I adhered each layer to an A2 sized card base and finished it off with a few Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ripened Pumpkin.

Check out the hop list down below to see more ideas and inspiration with the Flavor of the Month kit from Scrapping for Less.

How sweet! This is an adorable play on words and I love your classic and colorful background work, too! This card is a terrific masculine card – some of the hardest ones to make for me! TFS!
