For this awesome hop, I have created THREE Christmas cards for you! I used the Scrapbook.com exclusives and some great Simon Hurley create. products! I’ve got a video for you below or you can watch it HERE on YouTube.

Here’s a look at the cards I created! I went with an overall vintage feel for my cards. Let me know what you think about them! For the first one, I used the new domed blending tools to apply Distress Oxides to my card panel. I stamped out the Piano Recital background and then crumpled (yes, crumpled!) my panel to make it look old and careworn. I did some direct to paper inking with the exclusive hybrid ink in Cardinal and heat embossed the large sentiment ‘joy to the world.’

For my second card, I used the Piano Recital background stamp again. This time, I used Woof! ink from Simon’s line. I stamped the ‘merry Christmas’ sentiment right on top in hybrid dye ink from Scrapbook.com. I used a Spectrum Noir alcohol marker to color in the word ‘merry’ for a pop of red. I adhered some jute twine and added a cute little bow – that finished my card!

For my last card, I used the Classic Flannel background stamp in Cardinal red ink. I used the nesting star dies to cut out a few stars from my card panel and then popped the panel up with the new foam adhesive (this stuff is gold, y’all!). I backed the panel with some sparkling gold cardstock and added a sentiment from Simon’s ‘Caroling Squad’ stamp set. I heat embossed it on black cardstock and added a few clear sequins to finish off this one.
