Simon Hurley create. | Simple Card with Dudes Die Cuts

I’ve got a new video up on my YouTube channel today for you. I’m showing you how to make a simple card with the Dudes Die Cuts. These die cuts are basically pre-stamped and die cut images from the Dudes Too stamp set – they’re ready to be used on your projects.

I colored up each of the die cut images with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and then arranged them in a fun pattern on a piece of white card stock. I wanted it to look like they were falling from the sky (maybe like they had jumped from an airplane – skydiving anyone?) or were jumping around on a trampoline like crazy people.

I attached each of the die cuts to my card panel and then heat embossed a sentiment. I chose ‘jumping by to say’ from Trampoline friends and ‘happy birthday’ from the Bestest Friends set. I loved how these went together. I trimmed them down and popped them up on some foam tape for a bit of dimension.

That finished off this simple card. I thought this was a fun way to use the die cuts and make a simple card for a last minute birthday! Let me know what you think.
