Altenew | Build-A-Flower: Snapdragon | Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hey crafty friends!

Today is a big day! I’m thrilled to be a part of the Altenew Build-A-Flower: Snapdragon Release Blog Hop + Giveaway! I know you’re going to love all of the inspiration coming your way, so let’s get started!

This release blog hop is all about the brand new Build-A-Flower set – Snapdragon. These images are to die for, so get ready to be inspired. Every time you order an Altenew stamp set the layering guide is included – so you’ll always know how to line up those images perfectly. I find this super helpful, especially when I’m using the stamps for the first few times.

You can also bundle up and save! This Build-A-Flower can be purchased with a set of 8 coordinating ink cubes and the coordinating dies. If you purchase the bundle, you save 5%. There is also an option to sign up for a monthly subscription plan for the Build-A-Flower sets. When signed up, you are guaranteed a spot in our monthly Build-A-Flower releases and will receive a set each month – at a specially discounted price! ($35.00 → $29.99)

For today’s hop, I have created two cards for you. For the first one, I decided to go more country chic. I used kraft card stock and white embossing powder to really make the floral images pop off the page. I added a little vellum, black sentiments, a few sequins, and a little bit of rustic twine to keep that theme going. I love the way this one turned out and I can’t wait to send it out!

For my second project, I stamped the images more traditionally on watercolor card stock. I did a bit of ink smooshing to really bring out the watercolor vibe for my background. I wanted to give the effect that my flowers were in a field of other greenery. I stamped a sentiment from ‘More Than Words’ to finish it off.

You can check out the video tutorials for both of my cards below or HERE and HERE on YouTube!
