Hey friends!
It’s time for another hop with the Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team. Today, we’re all using a color palette to inspire our projects. I chose to let the Surface Inks be the star of the show for my card.

I started things off by swiping the Surface Ink cubes downward on a piece of white card stock. I lifted up as I moved downward so the ‘tails’ would get lighter towards the bottom. I did this with each ink color.

I cut a cloud border and layered it on top of my ink swiped background. This made it look like the cloud was raining down a rainbow of gorgeous colors. So pretty!

I die cut the ‘hello’ die from Galaxy Watercolor paper and layered it on top of two white die cuts for dimension. I glued this to my card and added sequins for a little bit of sparkle.

I decided to make this a baby card by adding a sentiment on top of the ‘hello.’ I chose to use part of a sentiment from Bunny Kisses. I trimmed it down and heat embossed it in Alabaster Embossing Powder on black card stock. I popped it up on foam for dimension and that finished off my card.

Let’s check out what the rest of the team created for the hop today:
