Hey Crafty People!
It’s another Wednesday and you know what that means – It’s time for a BLOG HOP with the Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team. This week’s theme is Anything Goes – it’s a free-for-all!
For my card, I chose to use the Donut Worry stamp set. I stamped out three donuts in black ink and grabbed some Distress Inks and Oxides to do some ink smooshing. I used Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers for this combo. I really like how combining the same colors of the inks and oxides gave me more dimension in my color.
I cut the stamped panel down and layered some black card stock behind the donuts. I cut a piece of white card stock to 4in x 5.25in and used Nuvo Drops mixed with water to splatter on droplets of black.
I stamped out the sentiment, ‘donut worry..’ and then snagged my Square Alphabet Die Set for the rest of the sentiment. I cut out ‘be happy’ from the letters and used the inner portion for my card. I can save the larger square pieces for another card.
I adhered the die cut letters to my card front and mounted the panel on Brutus Monroe Foam Tape for dimension. I added a few clear sequins and my work was done! That finished off my card for today.
Let’s check out what the rest of the team created for this week’s hop. I know you’ll love it!
