Hey friends!
It’s time for another Wednesday hop with the Inspiration Team for Brutus Monroe. This is easily one of my favorite days of the week! This week, our theme is actually a color palette. We’re all drawing inspiration from this gorgeous color combination:
For my card, I decided to mix things up. I started with the Sweadda Weadda background stamp. I used three colors of surface ink (Rock Candy, Sea, and Lapis) to ink up the stamp and apply it to my white cardstock. I masked off the bottom of my cardstock so I’d have an empty white space for my sentiment.
Next, I grabbed some ribbon that matched our color palette perfectly and tied a cute bow on. If you want to see how I tie these darling little bows, you can check out my YouTube video HERE.
I decided I wanted to use the Snow Globe stamp set, but I wasn’t sure what to put inside of it. I scoured all of my sets and I decided on one of the beautiful butterflies from Butterfly Sentiments 2.0. I stamped out the snowglobe and the butterfly using Raven Detail Ink. I colored them both up using Copic markers and a little Frosted Cranberry Aqua Pigment and then fussy cut it. I also flicked on some white acrylic paint to make it look like there was snow in the globe.
I stamped out my sentiment from the Yuletide Greetings set and adhered my snow globe using Brutus Monroe Craft Glue. I finished off my card with some pretty sequins. Yay! Are you ready to see what the rest of the team created? Hop along using the links below!
