Hey friends, Happy November!
It’s Wednesday, so it’s time for another team hop with the Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team. Hooray! This week’s hop is focused on the brand new Stamp of the Month – this adorable little turkey!
To start off my card, I grabbed the Bountiful Harvest Inspiration Box and got out my 6×8 stamp set. I picked a few of my favorite leaf stamps and repeat stamped them to create a background on a piece of white cardstock. Once all of my images were stamped, I colored each leaf using Copic markers. I loved picking out colors for the leaves!
Next, I layered a slightly smaller piece of vellum over my design. I like that this mutes the background and lets you put the focus on things in the foreground without making your card too busy. On top of my vellum, I placed die cuts to spell out ‘give thanks’ – I used the Uppercase Alphas and the Thanks Die for this. I also cut an ampersand from brown cardstock using my Cricut.
This card wouldn’t be a Stamp Club card without the Stamp of the Month, so I grabbed the cute little turkey and colored him up with Copic markers. I popped him up on foam for some dimension and added a few brown sequins, too. I fill my sequins in with glossy accents to give them a different look. That finished off my card!
I hope you already have your sweet little turkey in hand so you can get started crafting your Thanksgiving cards and projects. Be sure to tag me on social media (@acarddayswork) so I can see what you’re creating!
Now it’s time to hop on over to see the rest of the team’s awesome projects featuring this stamp! Here’s the list for you:
