American Crafts + MFT + Brutus Monroe + Hero Arts = Yay!

Hey friends!

I’m back with another card today featuring a whole bunch of awesome brands! I’m using products from American Crafts, My Favorite Things, Brutus Monroe, Hero Arts today. Woohoo!

To get started with my card, I actually trimmed down some leftovers from a card I made previously using the Graphic Leaves background from Hero Arts (check out that post HERE). I used this piece and a piece of bright pink glitter cardstock and layered them together with the Library background stamp from Brutus Monroe. I stamped the background in Soft Granite ink from Hero Arts.

I snagged this awesome paper pad from American Crafts called True Stories from my stash. I love shopping my own stash and being so delighted with what I pull out – what a cool feeling! I matted the ‘true story’ panel with a pretty minty cardstock and then trimmed my sentiment strips from one of the other pieces of paper in the pad. I inked around the edges to make them stand out just a touch more.

I also colored up my favorite little bookworm from the ‘Our Story’ set from My Favorite Things. I was experimenting with the lighting on the book and I’m so happy with how it came out!

I popped my front panel and the little girl up on foam for some dimension and finished my card off with some clear droplets from Pretty Pink Posh. Love those things!

I hope you love the card. I’m sending big warm summer wishes everyone’s way!
