Hey crafty people!
Today I’m sharing a super cute card made with stamps from My Favorite Things and Brutus Monroe. I’ve been on a kick with these stamp sets lately! They’re just too cute – I can’t stop creating with them.
To start this card, I grabbed the Level Up stamp set from My Favorite Things. I love all of the video game related sentiments and images – I’m a gamer myself, so this set speaks to me. I stamped my sentiment in black ink and then die cut a panel with the Vintage Stitched Square die from Spellbinders. I ink blended some color on the panel with Pumice Stone.
I used a strip of patterned tape to add some interest to my card front and then popped my card panel up on foam for some dimension. I colored up the adorable wedding couple from Brutus Monroe with Copic Markers.
I used my Cricut to cut the pieces for a tiny controller and then used some black and white twine for the cord. I glued it in place with a few tiny dots of Multi Medium in the Matte finish. I also used a little Glossy Accents to brighten up the buttons on the controller and give a little shine and dimension to the hearts above the happy couple.
This card is so simple, yet perfect for that gamer couple. The couple that games together, stays together, right? It’s working for my husband and I – lol! Do you play any video games? Let me know in the comments!
**I entered this card into the MFT Color Challenge #99.**
