Today I’m sharing my fourth project for the month for the Craftin Desert Divas digital Design Team. I’m using an adorable digital stamp as the focus of this card.
This card came together super quickly, which is always a plus! To start off, I cut a card base from white cardstock down to 4.25 x 11. This gives me a 4.25 x 5.5 top folding card when folded in half. Next, I snagged some adorable patterned paper from my stash. I’ve been trying to do better about using up the paper I have on hand, so this was the perfect occasion.
Next, I grabbed the Stitched In Circles Dies from CDD and cut a circle from my patterned paper. I colored up my digital stamp using copic markers and adhered the cardstock to the back of my patterned paper so that the cute digital image shows through the hole. I adhered both of these pieces to my card front.
Then, I cut a piece of cardstock into a banner shape and inked it up using some Pumice Stone distress ink. I also hand lettered the sentiment ‘Christmas tweetings’ using a fudenosuke pen from Tombow and added some white gel pen accents around the edges.
To finish off the card, I added a few sequins from the Berry Christmas mix from CDD. I love a little added sparkle! This card was quick to put together, which is great during the holiday rush of things. I hope you like it!
See you next time, crafters!
