Hey everyone!

I hope you’re enjoying November so far. Can you believe it’s already November!? My birthday was on Friday and I still can’t believe that it’s this late in the year. It’s just flown by!

Today, I’m sharing my first Craftin Desert Divas Digital Design Team project for November. This card was inspired by the monthy mood board challenge. Here’s a look, if you haven’t seen it yet:

Oooooh, doesn’t it just make you want to curl up with a hot drink and snuggle? It’s definitely got me feeling all the fall vibes! I decided to run with the white and tan color scheme in some of the pictures, and I also wanted to include a cozy drink.

I’m always looking for ways to stretch the stamps and supplies I have in my stash (because we all know by now that I’m a bit of a hoarder), and this was the perfect project to do that. I used a digital stamp from the Happy Haunting set and dressed it up to fit my needs. I drew my own handle on the cauldron to make it look like a coffee mug and colored my little witch in reds and greens to make her look like one of Santa’s little helpers. How fun!

I used two difference embossing folders, one with a wood grain pattern and one with a cute bauble look, to add some interest to my fairly clean and simple card. I stamped the sentiment ‘you warm my heart’ from the Christmas Wishes stamp set and popped the front panel up on foam dots.

I hope you loved this fun take on a Halloween digital stamp. Have you used any of your stamps or digis in an unexpected way?
