I’m here today with a handmade card for the Craftin Desert Divas Digital Design Team. This card features two totally adorable digital stamps from CDD – ‘Fitness Elephant‘ and ‘Fitness Hippo Weights.’ I am so in love with all of the fitness digi stamps on CDD’s website. You guys, seriously- check them out. You’ll love them!
This card is my take on a lighthearted apology card. I love to tie unexpected sentiment and stamp combos together. It makes my heart so happy!
To start this card off, I colored my two digital stamps using Copic Sketch markers. Then, I used my Cricut to cut out the sentiment ‘let’s work this out’ from white cardstock. I also punched two circles from the same piece of cardstock to create little windows for my adorable critters. Then I snagged two colors of Distress Oxides, Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves, and used a paintbrush to add some color around the windows. I then used the same colors to add splatters throughout the cardstock.
I mounted my card front on foam tape and adhered it to some minty green cardstock, making sure my critters were placed so you could see them through the windows. Then I added a mat of textured coral cardstock. I used some cute purple and white twine and tied a knot to give it a fun look. Then I mounted my card front to a white card base measured at 4.25 x 5.5.
